The publication of caution notice in newspaper is for awareness to the general public of Maldives about the owner of the brand and acts as a preventive step from infringement of the mark by third parties.

It is a customary practice to re-publish the caution notice in Local newspaper in every three years and it is not mandatory to publish the caution notice on the actual date. The client can re-publish the caution notices at any time.
